I have a list of over 400 films that I'd like to keep sorted. Dragging and dropping is not a feasible method for a list of this size. I'd like to be able to sort the list by name, either manually (e.g. by clicking a 'sort now' button), or automatically (select a default sort order for when the list is displayed).37 votes
Today we’ve added an A-Z sort prior to saving (for Pro members). We’ll add more options to this in future.
By this I mean, both the 'recent likes' or 'recent reviews' should not be based on when the film came out, but rather when the person rated or reviewed them. As it is, the films most recently released will always be pictured on a person's profile. I'd much rather see what they' most recently reviewed, seen or 'liked' even if it's not the most recent release. Does this make sense?5 votes
We agree. We plan to change this approach to show “Recent activity” in place of reviews and likes. Watch this space.
I've added my list of the top 250 imdb films and on the third page it appears several films are outputting twice (and using the same number in the list): http://letterboxd.com/jhuskisson/list/imdb-top-250/page/3/
Everything from 225 to 232 are outputting twice despite not affecting the number in the list or actually being inserted twice into the list1 vote
Hi Jamie, sorry you’ve struck a rather rare bug! We’re investigating the cause and will fix it asap.
Letterboxd is addictive as crack!. But you dont have clear notifications of a friend´s new reviews or updates.7 votes
WeÆll be adding FB and Twitter sharing once the site is public. The best way to get notifications about new reviews is to follow other users and then check your Activity page regularly — it works just like Twitter or Tumblr.
I've clicked seen on a lot of films but don't want to have to open each individual page to rate them. Is there a way to mass rate these films in a list format?1 vote
We’ve added a mass rating mode on the Films→Diary page, and intend to make this available in other areas eventually.
I made a list based on a series of reviews on AVclub.com. Some of these films I have already seen and some are on my watchlist. It would be nice to have the option to show only those that I haven't seen yet or am not yet planning to watch22 votes
On film pages, users would be able to apply tags that are appropriate or relevant to a film (such as "female director" or "coming of age").
Tags that are applied frequently become featured categories, helping everyone discover new films through a new set of themes and attributes defined by the community.0 votes
You can already view all films from the community for a tag. Click the tag on any review, then find the author’s username in the row of filters and change that to “Everyone”.
As Yekra is no longer around, it should be removed from the services list0 votes
They will be removed in a forthcoming update, and we’ll be adding a whole bunch more services. Stay tuned.
I can't see my most recently updated list.0 votes
I’ve fixed your list Shawn. We’re tracking down an issue where we incorrectly cache list pages as 404s.
