  1. IFTTT Support

An IFTTT Channel would be a nice Pro feature.

As an example - it'd be great to be able to set up a recipe so that when I log a new movie it's cover art and my review are piped through to my Day One journal automatically. I'm sure there are many other uses it could be put to.

    • Fix a bug with multi-word genres in "year to date"

When clicking "science fiction" in my list of films watched in 2016 by genre (http://letterboxd.com/braindance/year/2016/), I get redirected to my diary with all of my watched films (all genres) at http://letterboxd.com/braindance/films/diary/for/2016/genre/science fiction/by/rating/
Notice the URL containing "/science fiction/". I'm assuming the problem is with multiple-word genres due to " " (though I only have one multi-word genre in the list so can't confirm).

      • Sort films by Letterboxd Rating

I would really love this! Also, would it be possible to make an advanced sorting options tab/advanced view tab? With, for example, only view films in list X?

We’re in the process of making where we show the various sorting options more consistent. You can already sort in a number of screens by avg rating.

(And you can sort a list using this rating too, so not sure what you’re asking for here!)

        • Add the sum of the length of all the movies and display it

Add the sum of the length of all the movies that the user have marked as seen and show it in the profile, is curious to see how many minutes/hours/years the user has spend watching movies or it can be something that the user can only see. Also just for fun sum all the movies length that are currenly in the list of the page and show it somewhere how many years would take to see it all.

          • Find reviews for a film based on star rating

Would it be possible to filter film reviews by star rating? It can be quite laborious trying to find reviews that are generally positive or negative etc, with even more sorting and scrolling required to find anything in the middle. I feel certain reviews can often get a bit lost in the mix.

Our iOS and Android apps support a “Rated in range” filter, so you can see all 3-star reviews for a film, or all reviews that are between 2 and 4 stars, for example. This is not yet available on our website (one of the few situations where our apps are more fully featured)!

            • Change back your recent visual change - 27 Nov 16 - please.

It doesn't look very good, at least not as much as it used to look, and also you changed the script of the web page or something and now the movie posters aren't being displayed correctly in the list pages.
Now I can't see my own lists!

                • Keep track of new film releases

I wunder if it is possible to keep track of new film releases. Now if we want to add a film to our watchlist. We have to search for it or stumble on it. I'm looking for a way to see upcomming films sorted bij release date so we could add them to our watchlist. I've seen a great example here: http://www.taphive.com/todomovies/ , but my hart lays and stays with letterboxd.

                  • Create a sign to recognize watched film and film in Watchlist

When I look inside a list, and maybe inside this list there's 15 film, I should be able to recognize which film I saw, which film is in my Watchlist and which neither. It would be possible by inserting like a little green/blu/red (no matter what color) signs at the left/right low/high angle that connote if I ever interacted with this film and where I put it.

                      • Lists intersection

I have my watchlist, my friend has their watchlist, I like that friend, if I could intersect our two watchlists, I can see what movie we could watch together!

Would also be awesome for other lists (like which of 1001 movies you have to see before you die are on New Yorker Best 100 movies of all time? Which Nostalgia Critic-reviewed movies were also covered in the How Did This Get Made podcast?)

You guys love lists. We love lists too! Give us the option to intersect our lists :D

You can intersect watchlists already. Visit their watchlist, then change the Visibility (“eye”) menu to either hide films you’ve seen, or show only what’s also in your watchlist.

                        • Filter Films by Country of Origin

I just spent almost 3 hours filling out my watched list for 2017 alone and the thing that made it so daunting was the fact that I had to wade through a ton of films not from my country of origin. I'd like to filter out all countries except those I choose. So if I wanted to only see films from the United States and France, then I want to see only those instead of having to view from every country. That is the one feature that isn't on this site that will keep me from returning. I need to…

It would be very nice to be able to see how the current year is shaping up, see my current trends in movies, etc. it wouldn't need to be continuously updated -- maybe even just once a week would be probably good enough.

I know that this is an actual feature, but as of late I've been unable to delete private and public lists. I made a fake best-of-the-year list and tried to delete it but it just redirects me to the list's page. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I'd want to manually enter the date watched, as opposed to it being automatically recorded when I click "Watched", as there's a difference between my wanting to record that I just watched Finding Dory at the Alamo Drafthouse today and it was great, as opposed to my…

Use the “Add a Film” option to create a diary entry if you watch a film on a specific date—this can include the date (use the specified date option).

We don’t support location info in diary entries at this time, suggest using tags to attach this kind of metadata.

                                  • Movies by Country?

The site is great but when you browse all the movies you can filter them by year and genre but not country, which makes researches much longer, at least for me...

You can browse by country from a film’s page. This is sub-optimal as you need to find a film from the country you’re interested in, in order to find more from that country. We plan to add a list of all countries and languages.

                                    • Android app: add to list and list editing

Hello, It might be me who can't find it, but I don't seem to have the option to add movies to any list on the Android app ? Also I can see my lists but am unable to edit them ? I'm sorry if it's not the right place to ask this, but it could be a bug? Thank you !

                                        • wordpress widget

I have a film and book review blog, would love to have a widget on my sidebar that links to my LetterBoxD account so my readers can follow me on here, and maybe see what scores I have given films I have watched recently.

I noticed some older questions from a few years ago, that talked about plans being in the works for widgets, but I can't find any information on currently available ones.

                                          Do these widgets exist, please?

We have a widget for a single film which we can set up for your site, it shows LB’s ratings chart for the film, not your specific rating though (unless the visitor to your site follows you).

Email help@letterboxd.com if you’d like this set up for your site (it’s by request only, for now).
