  1. Allow a handy A-Z Listing of our Reviewed Titles

It would be convenient to have an alphabetical list (titles only/NO TEXT) so see all our reviewed titles easily at a glance. After having 1000 + titles listed, it becomes a bit difficult to locate certain titles, or even to know what we have reviewed.

You can sort your Films > Reviews tab by film title, but that still gives you a paginated list with review text.

Perhaps using the Export option in Settings and then examining reviews.csv in a spreadsheet app will give you the most flexibility until we can address this shortcoming.

  2. On the actors/movies page, put the TMDB id somewhere

I have the habit expanding site features with userscripts.

The problem I have atm is that there is no easy way to figure out the TMDB id for an actor / movie.

    A possibility:

    For an actor:
    <div id="content" data-tmdb-type="person" data-tmdb-id="1229">

    For a movie
    <div id="content" data-tmdb-type="movie" data-tmdb-id="115">

  3. Mass rating when viewing films in your "Seen" list

I've clicked seen on a lot of films but don't want to have to open each individual page to rate them. Is there a way to mass rate these films in a list format?

  4. [Bug] Overlayed icons misaligned in activity feed

Why can't I post a screenshot here? And why can't I log a bug, only a "suggestion"? This is frustrating.

I emailed api@letterboxd.com to grant me access to the beta API on January 27th & have not received a response. Would you grant me access?

Thanks for sending this info. Your film was not listed on GoWatchIt.com, our source for most of our availability date, so we’ve forwarded this to them to add, and it should show up for us in due course.

  7. I have not been able to access the total list of films I have seen

I have not been able to access the total list of films I have seen past the 10th page of films. I get an error message telling me it is forbidden on that server, but only past page 10.

  8. Importer from IMDB does not work

    Hi,
    Using IE 10,
i export at IMDB, which gives me ratings.csv
Importing it will allow me to point at the file,
next nothing happens: no sign whatever Letterboxd read the file ratings.csv.

    Regards, Ad Weterings

  9. Better Search

I searched for "Best in Show" and came up with 1000 results, the actual movie "Best in Show" didn't appear on page 1 of the results.

  10. offer better analytics for ratings

I'd like to be able to see a numeric breakdown of the ratings i've given, with percentages of the overall ratings. I see the one little graph, but I feel like this option could be better or more precise or developed. It doesn't offer an exact breakdown of how many films have been rated, and which percentage is given to each rating. This could just be a number, but I like graphs and charts as well.

Websites like rateyourmusic offer the exact number of each rating you've given. I'd just like a better overview of the ratings I have given,…

  11. E-mails

I like the Letterboxd e-mail system, but I seem to sometimes receive as many as 7-8 e-mails for the exact same thing. In fact, 95% of e-mails I receive from you are duplicates (same minute, same person following, 5 e-mails). I know I am not the only one getting this, so hopefully it is a bug that can be fixed?

  12. Bugfix: Movies appearing several times

I've added my list of the top 250 imdb films and on the third page it appears several films are outputting twice (and using the same number in the list): http://letterboxd.com/jhuskisson/list/imdb-top-250/page/3/

Everything from 225 to 232 are outputting twice despite not affecting the number in the list or actually being inserted twice into the list

  15. Issue finding title for list

I'm trying to list every movie that I've seen, but am having trouble. I want to add the movie Life (1999 - Ted Demme) to my 1999 list, but it isn't showing up in the search bar. Sometimes you can tinker with the letters to get what you want to show up but I'm having no luck.

  17. I can't view or use the site at all.

Going to the homepage makes it load momentarily before being replaced with the 2001: A Space Odyssey screenshot error page. I can go to my profile by typing in the URL and view most other pages on the site, but I can't actually do anything like I was able to before; clicking 'seen', 'like', or trying to comment or log/review a film results in an orange bar at the top reading "Internal Server Error". Is this something on my end or are there issues with the site?

  18. Printable "watched" list

It would be kind of cool if there was a way to export lists to a printable file. The website is great, but I just like having things on paper as well.

  19. Allow users to add movies to watchlist from 'Activity'

    Hi,

I would like to request you to allow users to add movies to watchlist from 'Activity' page or any other page. I myself am a interaction designer/UX designer and I love watching films. I can collaborate if you need any help.

    Thanks,
    Ravi

  20. Where to Watch

The “Where to Watch” section for each movie is a great tool and a good way to easily find films in my watchlist that can be immediately available (I have Netflix, Hulu, and Prime). Unfortunately, it seems these haven’t been updated in years: there are many films that say they are available on Netflix when they are not and vice versa. Netflix publishes a list of what’s coming and going each month and it would seem easy to continue to update...

We use GoWatchIt.com’s data to keep our Netflix availability up to date, but we can sometimes lag by a few days/weeks for less popular titles. If you spot any titles that have incorrect data for the US market in the Where to Watch panel, please send a list to help@letterboxd.com and we’ll get them updated. We appreciate the help!
