Find/recommend a film that a group has not seen.
Since letterboxd tracks who has seen what movie, it may be possible to use this data for suggesting a new movie that a group of users have not yet seen. This would be helpful when deciding on a film in a group.
Additionally one could choose to see a movie that a member has rated high but not seen in a long time and that others haven't seen yet. Or pick a movie that the group agrees on is awesome and watch it together.
This might motivate users to keep their diary up to date, as well. :)
This works between two users now. Go to their watchlist and choose to hide films you’ve seen. We’ll think about extending it to work with more members.
Thanks for the tip! That's a nice hack I didn't think of.
I'd still love to see this as a fully fledged feature. ;)
