I suggest you ...

Tag films, directors, actors and studios in reviews/comments

When I'm writing a review, I often want to reference other films the director has made or an actor has starred in. In the review dialogue there's now way to do this as far as I can tell.

Is it possible to have tags like on the individual movie page that would show other films? Maybe it could be a button that opens a list of actors/directors, so as not to take up too much room.

Like how Facebook handle tagging, with an @. When we do this, the other member is notified with something like: @name tagged you on a list comment. This way you can recommend lists and reviews, or talk about it with a friend.

I was JUST about to suggest this! I actually tried it while reviewing a movie. I did the whole "@The Royal Tennenbaums" thing, but it didn't work. :P

in addition a pop-over when hovering the movie link including the usual seen/like/etc-settings seems convenient to me...
