implement a better system for linking posters from TMDb.
I have added many, many films to TMDb. I always add an image for the movie poster. When waiting for the film to show up on Letterboxd, or forcing the conversion with the URL import, it seems like about the image only imports about half the time. A blank box is really unsightly. I understand the necessity for allowing only one permanent image, but the import system isn't working correctly if I've created the TMDb page, and have uploaded an image, before I even import the data to Letterboxd.
We are working to have images import at the same time as film content for new additions.
@Connor Due to the caching model in use at TMDb, not all data is able to be transferred the first time we add a film. But it does come across in 30 hours or less. Let me know if any films need a bump past this 30-hour window.

I know it's six years later now, but I just want to mention that I still have this problem pretty regularly, having added director names and posters to films on TMDB, and then when I use the URL to link them to letterboxd, the film is always missing everything but the title.

Also if an image is added later to TMDb, it would be great to be able to update the Letterboxd page for that movie with the image from TMDb. I added a movie to TMDb but didn't have the poster image at the time. I ran the import system to get the info over into Letterboxd, but now that I have added the image to TMDb, there is no way to force TMDb to grab the image. Perhaps it will update automatically in 6 hours if I wait. But I'd like it now.
