Nearly two months and not even a response. C'mon Letterboxd, stop being so damn frustrating.Cormac supported this idea ·
We’re working on a solution to allow us to continue to import mini series from TMDb even once they are moved to its TV section. Once this is ready, we’ll be better placed to make a call about the inclusion of this content.
In the meantime this mini-series could be retained as other mini-series have been retained, no? But if that's not something you want to get into right now, I get it.
My Pro membership in this website lapses in a couple months. I will not be renewing it if this issue is not resolved.
I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of response here.
Decisions regarding the inclusion of TV/limited series are the domain of TMDB.org, where we source our data.
Thank you for the response, Matthew. I've looked at the stats page a couple times; I've tagged my lists so they can appear there. It's nice. I like it. But it has not proved a necessity by any means. I won't notice if it's gone. My activity isn't so voluminous that it needs to be filtered, and I have no cause to clone lists. I of course don't regret my donation, though, because I've enjoyed the website's basic functions.
As for the mini-series, I know that Letterboxd has been able to retain them when TMDb deletes them. We've been through this before.
We’re thinking more about this now that our API is nearing.

I very much want this feature, too! I came to Feedback to suggest just such a thing for the same reasons that others are mentioning.
