You can enable “Fade Watched” from the Eye menu to fade out films you’ve watched. We do not have a similar option for films in your Watchlist at this time.
Hi Matthew, I find that in the iOS app the only place that my watched items do not appear faded is on the main "Popular" screen when browsing movies. It works everywhere else (search, watchlist, etc).
I also would like to see something that identifies which movies are on my watchlist in the iOS app (maybe even just the ability to fade those ones as well?). Looking forward to it, thanks!
Great call. We’re investigating some sources for the data to power something like this, and will let you know how we get on.
I am also really hoping there will be some kind of notification for when movies are released in theatre, but more importantly when they are released for home viewing (bluray, dvd, etc).
Also, instead of just FILTERING your watchlist by "Released" and "Not Released", I would like to see that changed to three options:
1) Not Released
2) Released (Theatre)
3) Released (Bluray)
This would help me choose a movie to buy without being disappointed by finding out it's not out on disc yet.
I agree. I have to change my SORT and FILTER settings every single time I open the iOS app and access my watchlist. It would be great if it would remember my settings.
If you mostly search for films, use the Find A Film box near the top of http://letterboxd.com/films/ as it auto-completes film titles for you.
