I don't understand why features like this can't be implemented since they have been in planning for over the last FIVE going-on six years now, yet we get tiny changes such as changing the font and colour pallette which are barely noticeable. Users who pay for Patron and Pro membership would surely appreciate their money going into this kind of development rather than incremental aesthetic changes.
Functions like this would be so welcome to make the site more social. As it stands it's not easy to strike up a discussion with someone, especially someone you don't already know, about a film unless you comment on their review which can easily get lost due to the lack of a notification system on the site if the person isn't regularly checking their own incoming activity. Finding people who want to watch more French cinema for example, and watching and discussing movies together would be such a great feature.
It's so sad to see social features like this lingering on the feedback page for over half a decade when they would go such a long way to making the site more enjoyable.
Yes, we’d like to do this, but it’s not a quick development job so we’ve not been able to prioritize it to date.Anonymous supported this idea ·
